Dice puzzles

In the following puzzle the die has 6 sides, with each side having a different number of spots. The numbers go from 1 through 6.

The total number of events in rolling a dice 'n' times is given by 6^n

In our case, the die is rolled 3 times, so n = 3
so total number of events = 6^3 = 6*6*6 = 216 events

The die is rolled three times and the outcome of each roll is noted.
For example (as shown in the video), the numbers are 6, 3, 4
Then, the next step is to reverse the number 634, giving 436
Then subtract: 634 - 436 = 198
The reverse of 198 is 891
Now add these two numbers: 198 + 891 = 1089
